State Profiles

What does the landscape of health coverage look like in your community? For all 50 states and the District of Columbia, you can download a detailed study of the local uninsured population and changes in state- and county-level uninsured rates since 2013, along with demographic and plan-selection data.

These state snapshots and tables are powered by Enroll America and Civis Analytics’ in-depth data model, which has played a critical role in our ability to understand who and where the uninsured are — and to get them the help they need to enroll in coverage.

The Enroll America/Civis Analytics uninsured model provides our best estimate of uninsured rates by geography and demographic group. For smaller geographies — such as ZIP codes and counties — and demographic groups that contain fewer people, Enroll America’s estimates may show increased variation from the actual uninsured rate in these areas.
