Washington, DC – Today, Enroll America issued the following statement from their president Anne Filipic in response to the State of the Union address:
“Tonight President Obama called on every American to talk to the uninsured people in their lives – mother to child, neighbor to neighbor – about the importance of getting covered. That is a call our hundreds of staffers and thousands of volunteers are echoing in communities across the country every single day. More than nine million Americans have already found coverage through Medicaid and the Marketplace. We’re glad the President asked Americans to join the effort, and we’ll continue to expand our campaign over the next two months to make sure as many people as possible can have the peace of mind that comes with quality, affordable health insurance.”
