Last week marked the launch of the fourth open enrollment period (OE4), and our partners and staff across the country were ready to hit the ground running. The week started strong, with the release of two key resources:
- Updated uninsured model, developed in partnership with Civis Analytics and featured in the New York Times
- Updated consumer messaging graphic
We also saw a number of critical earned media stories focused on educating consumers about financial help available in the marketplace, like this one from North Carolina. As of November 1, we had over 1,000 assisters with schedules available in the Get Covered Connector tool, with over 5,400 appointments scheduled for OE4 — an 80 percent increase compared to the first day of OE3.
But beyond the numbers are the faces and stories of consumers getting enrolled and community partners pulling out all the stops. There is amazing work happening all across the country as we head into this critical enrollment season, and outreach continues to be a core strategy that connects consumers to in-person help and health coverage. Here are a few on-the-ground highlights and stories from our team and community of partners from the first week of OE4.
